Just wanted to say hi. Loved Leo since the Call for help / ScreenSaver days. Glad he finally started a forum because I listen to the podcasts but still would like to dig deeper on some topics. Thank you to all at the TWIT network for all your hard work!
Hello everyone! My goodness I’m actually really thrilled about how many people are active already. Such a great idea as I live in Asia and the live shows are typically in the middle of the night for me.
That said, big fan looking forward to the community. I’m a Navy Vet working in IT for Uncle Sam. Although to be totally honest my eyes are open for any and all opportunities. Graduating from the University of Illinois next semester with my CS degree.
Wonderful to meet you all!
Yay! Welcome Godfrey, and thanks for your service!

I am not! I’m a bit of a Google/Windows fanboy. I love the Surface line and I’m a big fan of Thurrot’s sarcasm.
I will admit I have my favorites (and am a fellow Google Fanboy!).
I moved to Iowa from Ventura about 4 years ago and miss it greatly. Lots of fond memories of Port Hueneme and the Ventura region
Hello all! Long time listener, first time commentor. TWiT podcast humor me throughout my 1 hour+ commute to and from work each day.
That’s how I finally found it!!
Hello everyone! I was just watching the video of yesterday’s “iOS Today” and heard Leo Mention this community! So I set up an account, and here I am. I’ve added a “bio of sorts” to my profile. I enjoy learning and chatting about Apple Products and other technology.
thanks for being here, my friend. Love you, bro. Your support has meant a lot over the years, homie.
thanks for tuning in and joining our community, @DaytonAnnie
Mr Thurrott’s sarcasm is unmatched. Lol!
Hi All,
First of all i might be posting to a particular person. Sorry about that. I don’t know how to post to the main topic.
I am johng sometimes in the chat room.I always wanted a way to discuss a particular topics from a show or make a comment on what on og the cohosts was saying and there was no easy way. I used to use the app called Free Agent news group reader back in the DOS days. I have used windows since the ms-DOS PC-DOS days and I have used just about every Windows version since then. Even the windows server versions. But I don’t love Windows. I got my windows MCSE cert back in the windows 2000/xp days. i love the iPad. I do all my video editing, photo editing, and 3D design on my iPad Pro 12.9” gen 2 iPad. I am waiting for the Gen 4. In the files app I like to link my Lenovo 920 Running Simplify3D with my ipad to transfer files. I run the Public Betas on both my iPad and Google Pixel phone. I listen to every TWIT show. Most of the time Live. I have a 4 hour commute. Right now I am listening to Floss Weekly.
I also had the atari 2600 video game unit. An Atair 800 computer and even further back a radio shack TRS 80 Model 1 Level 2 computers. This had 16k of RAM in the keyboard. And a product called the Stringy Floppy unit for storage. I also did programing classes in the 80s at a local JC ON a Honeywell mini computer with the punch card and big 10 disk packs for the storage, etc. no monitors. Then on to a HP mini computer with 7 monitors.
Hi! I’m Scottish, but live in Marseille in the south of France. I’ve been listening to TWIT, TWIG and iOS Today for years. I love you guys! And really glad to have the community.
