Is anyone who’s trying the EOS Webcam beta software getting freezing of the image every few seconds? Can’t seem to stop it. I’m using an Canon EOS M50 camera.

Don’t know how this works, is it a USB connection? Could it be bandwidth related… are you on a USB 2 port instead of USB 3 or something?

Yep, USB. The camera only has USB 2 anyway. Have tried different cables and different machines (second machine has no other Canon software on it).

I think I’ve fixed it now. Video output was set to 25fps. Setting it to 50fps seems to have fixed it. Guess there must have been a mismatch between what the software was expecting and what the camera was sending.
