I’m getting great photo results with my Pixel 2 XL, especially with some of the feature upgrades Google has pushed-out. The only reason I carried a conventional camera on our last trip was for telephoto work. And I’m tired of lugging that extra weight and bulk around. Would appreciate any experience with or recommendations for attachable telephoto lenses that I could use with my Pixel 2 XL.
Check out Moment lenses. they are a bit pricey but well worth the money.
Thanks DarthAlgar, I’ve checked on the Moment website. I like the approach, certainly more solid than the clip-on lenses. I’m going to give them a try for our next trip.
The telephoto I’ve seen hasn’t been much more than a 50mm equivalent. Or maybe that’s the blackeye lens I use
The Moment telephoto lens is the equivalent of a 2X zoom on my Pixel 2 XL. Requires a case from Moment as well. Not sure that is worth the investment.
+1 on Moment lenses. I would argue that they aren’t pricey for what they are. Good glass is very expensive.
