Is this like the “friend” who declines to come to your event just so they can moan that they never get to do anything fun?
I’ve used that Yoti service. It’s a colab between some banks and the UK Post Office I think, you can use it to digitally ID yourself with the bank, picking up parcels etc. The age verification bit says I’m over 21 
Has 5 millions users according to the app. Another use is cinemas verifying your age.
Google’s tablet “strategy” is such a mess.
