@JeffJarvis said he spoke to Google about the proposed Australian system and the arbitration. Who did he speak to in the Oz government to get their side of the story?
Having lived through the Google FUD machine with GDPR and the right to be forgotten - deliberately misrepresenting what is being proposed (compared to actually reading the proposed directives/laws) and deliberately implementing it in a way that is way more than what the law requires, and makes the law look silly and to get people’s backs up - I would be interested to see where the truth lays, probably somewhere in the middle.
