It’s been awhile since I’ve done actual research on this, but Firefox is just different when it comes to font rendering. Steve’s issues with Verdana probably replicate with other fonts on other sites.
I last looked into this in 2016, which is why I’m not quoting specifics, they could be outdated. Still, I’m a little disappointed to hear that with all the major changes Mozilla has made to Firefox, font rendering is still different enough from Chromium to cause issues.
