Is it really that hard to resize an image in iOS? The photos app doesn’t do it; a load of editors such as PS Express, Lightroom, Polarr, Snapseed don’t either. Why is it so difficult? There are numerous resizing apps in the App Store and I don’t know which ones are good. I just want to scale some photos for uploading.
Any recommendations?

Pixelmator does, reliably. It’s a bit of an awkward process, but it works. Open an image > Settings > Image Setup > tap on the dimension metrics at the bottom > replace the numerals with your desired figures > Apply (upper-right). Then tap Share > Save to Photos if you want to overwrite the original, or Copy to Photos.

Thanks I’ll take a look at that.
I just discovered that I can set the size when I share in PS Express.

Okay, I think I have answered my own question. PS Express, share, select size, open with more, select files, save to files, on my iPhone. Then I can access it when uploading elsewhere, mainly a problem on web sites, I found.
