Did you turn secure boot off in the UEFI settings? if not, might i suggest it .
I believe that is although admittedly this is the first computer I have had with it and I am not seeing something that specifically say that it is off.
After I have installed Mint now I didnât install Chrome and just been using Firefox and havenât had the problem after a few shutdown and restarts since last night which has been longer than any previous time.

Yeah stuff like this does happen . Maybe try out a few other browsers(maybe youâll like them better)
So i was wondering, did you try Chromium ? I wonder if it will cash as well? Are you installing all the proprietary Nvidia drivers ? Try this browser . https://vivaldi.com/ I like it alot.
As it turns out I was a bit of an idiot. Everything seems to be working now with the browser I wanted
