Has F1 lost touch with reality?

I think 19 races this year is pie in the sky, and having a championship season even if the season starts in October?

I think the best we can hope for is a European championship this year, with no spectators. The far-flung races would be a logistical nightmare even if the virus spread does slow down.

So apparently the goal is to start the season in Austria this August.

With this season having such a huge asterisk next to it in terms of whoever wins the championship, I’d really like to see them try some of the more off-the-wall race weekend formats that have been floated out there such as reverse grids and/or fewer practice sessions.

Aren’t they thinking of extending into next year too and have car designs Carried over from this year into 2021? I know McLaren has had special dispensation to switch to Mercedes engines.
