So I watched the first episode of Hands on Mac and I am thinking about giving BetterTouchTool a try. For the people who use this is it difficult to use? Also, I am still kinda new to MacOS and curious if it is safe for someone new to the OS to use. I don’t want to screw anything up. Thanks.

It can be pretty overwhelming at first but it does make the Touch Bar not terrible.
But you won’t mess up your Mac (at least I haven’t been able to)
Here is my touch bar setup, its pretty basic but that suits me just fine
From left to right, I have:
- A battery widget
- A uptime widget
- Load averages
- Media Controls
- Mute Button
- A volume slider
- A brightness slider
- Keyboard backlight buttons
