Juan made a good point about that Lenovo and its HDMI inputs and using desktop modes on Android devices. Very underutilised IME, and I hope Android 12 makes more effort with a native Android desktop mode.

My Android tablet is always in DeX mode. Works like a handheld PC, windowed apps, has a desktop and taskbar. Makes it a very usable portable solution with all the O365 apps installed.

I would love for Pixels to support something like DeX mode. Juan mentioned some of the ones he’s tested and I like the NexDock.

Yeah, my OnePlus used to do it too, although DeX is much better than what Google has done so far. It’s weird on the Pixel, it’s there in the Developer options, but nothing happens when you cast to a screen. Just checked again on 12 beta.
