The Photo Thread - Week of 2020-12-20: Bueller. Bueller. Bueller?
The Conjunction.
Whoa, that sounds fantastic. Never had boar, but I am occasionally treated to fresh venison or duck when I visit family in the Ozark mountains every Thanksgiving. Not this year unfortunately— all the 2020 holidays were at home this year thanks to COVID.
The kids made brownies for Santa, though.
I didn’t have any ragout either!!
My wife was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery on 23rd. The girls came over and we started cooking yesterday, before I went to the hospital to see my wife (she is allowed 1 visitor over Christmas, 1 hour per day) .
By the time I got back, the girls had finished the cooking and had packed everything into Tupperware pots and were delivering it to the grandparents and an uncle. They left me a pot of ragout, I searched through it, vegetables and sauce, but no meat!!
Turns out the grandparents got an extra portion meat.
Luckily they left me some of the roast boar, so I poured the ragout sauce over that. Not the same, the ragout meat just melts on the tongue, but at least I didn’t go hungry.
Here’s to her speedy recovery
Get well soon to Mrs. big_D.
Yes, I hope she recovers soon.
Your family has had a rough 2020 this year man.
praying for your wife
Thanks everyone for the best wishes.
I hope she recovers quickly and fully, and may 2021 be better for you and the family.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery
The new dog is photogenic. He and #KyloFinn enjoy sleeping in the sunlight by the patios. Great lighting, actually. So sometimes I take advantage of it.
