OneNote synching issue

When I’m logged on to the web version of my work’s Microsoft 365, I can open the one note app and see my onenote files.
Same thing does not happen on my Mac. I have onenote installed on my Mac as well as OneDrive. I’ve signed into my personal and work OneDrive through onenote. But my work onenote files don’t seem to be syncing (I don’t use onenote on my personal OneDrive yet). I only seem to have the option to save locally.
Any suggestions?

On your Mac, Load up the OneNote notebook you want to sync from the web application (navigate to office.com and launch OneNote from your browser). Once there, you should have an option to open it with the native OneNote application. When you do that, the notebook will be added to your available notebooks.

Thank you, it worked well. Do I have to modify a setting to make sure the native app and web app sync back and forth? Or should that just happen?

Normally it should just happen.

If OneNote is logged onto your business account, new notebooks should appear automatically, if you are logged into the application with your private account, you need to open work notebooks once over the web, then it should keep them synced.

Can I be logged into my personal and work Microsoft accounts simultaneously?

Yes, I use my instance this way. One notebook is from a personal Microsoft account and the other notebooks live on an enterprise instance.
