Big News for Mac Evernote Users! They quietly released an M1 optimized (native) version this week and the performance is so good it made me fall in love with the program all over again. It used to take 15-20 seconds for the program to load on an M1. Now it snaps into place in about 1-2 seconds (just a hair slower than Safari). The overall performance when creating notes and searching is night and day compared to what we’ve been suffering with prior. It really makes all their big changes seem more relevant and useful. I was about to jump ship and now it’s like Christmas Day. For me, Evernote is back and no other note-taking app comes close. (This is not a paid endorsement !)
