Halide’s initial app rejection is simultaneously funny and sad. Ben’s first re-application contained these stanzas in iambic pentameter. From Ben’s Mastadon feed:
Ben’s poem tangentially reminded me of the DeCSS Haiku from 2001: a 465-stanza Haiku giving detailed instructions from which programmers could [hypothetically] create a DeCSS implementation from scratch. At one time, having that code was illegal; Seth Schoen’s epic haiku helped make that a joke. Seth Schoen had no AI to help him create masterpiece. Could one of today’s AIs successfully implement the DeCSS from that haiku?
