The Apple Replay numbers aren’t even close. I listen to one artist a lot- among many others, and have a play list of all of my favorite songs by her. I listen to that playlist at minimum 3 times a week, on the ride home. It says my favorite song was listened to was the first song on that playlist and it shows 13 times. Should be more like 200+ times.
Bring up Subramanya’s Microsoft background seems really superfluous here. He’s been at Google for 16 years - which puts his Microsoft time back in 2009. Whatever knowledge he had from that period has long been rendered irrelevant and obsolete. Ballmer was CEO then, Windows 7 was a new OS and PCs still had some installations of Vista.
Snarky comments about Microsoft aside, his ties to that company are, at best, a historical note on his resume.
EDIT: I just noticed I had my information backwards. He came from Microsoft but was at Google before that. I thought it was the other way around. My apologies. I’m not sure it invalidates my point (that he’s largely a Google person), but I misunderstood the order of employment.
