I feel the pain. Buy something and then it goes on sale shortly after. Reminds me when I bought my Amazon Re-Cast. IT went on sale $50 off 3 weeks later, but guess what ? AMZ gave me a $50 gift card without me asking. Not a big fan of AMZ but you have to give them credit for doing business this way.
