Hello everyone
So I have a 4k 27” monitor that I’m connecting that via HDMI port to dell xps 15
It can output 4k 60hz and seems to work fine
But!
Im facing an issue of Screen goes in solid colors and distorted time to time
Specially if i try to game on it (rdr online)
I change the windoelws resolution to 1080 as the game can not show the right size on any other resolution
I have game video settings as 1080 as well
It starts working but get distorted and pictures goes away and gets back
When i chech monitor info in osd it shows 4k resolution although ive changed both windows and game to 1080
I want to try connecting the monitor by thunderbolt in both usb c and hdmi adaptor to test it as well but as i need the thunderbolt connection for my ssd and there is only one port on the laptop ot might not work for me
Do you have any suggestions what may be the issue
