For most company data breaches, I’ve been offered free monitoring (from different monitoring companies) for one year. Is it worthwhile signing up for all of them? My main service (Experian) I get as a free benefit from my work place.
IMHO, the only worthwhile step to take is ensuring your credit reports are frozen with the three reporting agencies. Many of these monitoring services are simply front-ending Troy Hunt’s https://haveibeenpwned.com service.
It irks me that these companies have decided to create a cottage industry based on the mess they created. It might be a “free” benefit for you, but value is changing hands somewhere.

Thanks for your response. I do have my credit reports frozen. I’ll stick with one (free) monitoring company. And I hear you about the credit agencies creating chaos for us and then profiting from it.
