Dipping in and out of the show. DeX isn’t being cancelled, is it? They are dropping support for the Windows DeX app in One UI 7, but I thought DeX would continue on One UI devices.
Hope so, as DeX is my default on my Samsung tablet, use it all the time. Never saw a use for it on Windows though. What’s the point of running a DeX session from your phone/tablet on your laptop?
It is useful when travelling. All you need is a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and you can wirelessly project a DeX desktop on most TVs. It is surprising how many TVs still support Miracast.

You are correct. It is just the DEX app that integrates the phone with Windows, this has been replaced by the Windows Phone Link app that does the same thing.

Phew! My tablet is stuck on One UI 5 actually, but I do use DeX on the phone too sometimes.
