Regarding NPUs, the big difference between an NPU and an nVidia GPU is the performance per Watt. Whilst a desktop nVidia graphics card might have 10 times the performance of the Snapdragon NPU, it uses 80 times the amount of electricity in doing so. That isn’t sustainable and it certainly isn’t something you can shoehorn into a laptop…

Guess what doesn’t work if you have Advanced Data Protection enabled? Looks like it’s a manual migration for me! (Don’t have enough photos to warrant turning this off for a day).
