I’m sorry, but I just cannot listen to any episode with the female presenter from this episode, who continually voices “Umm-hmm” while someone else is speaking. It’s just jarring.
Saying “mmm hm” is a normal part of the prosody of conversation in English-- a simple way to indicate that you’re following along; especially useful when you don’t have the usual non-verbal cues. I still have 23 minutes left in the episode but I haven’t noticed Lisa doing this, let alone found it jarring-- but to each their own.

The female presenter is Lisa Schmeiser, who is a respected tech journalist with IT Pro Today and one of the better panelists TWIT has on regularly. I always listen to her and have found no reason to stop doing so.

I always thought there was a limit on how much you could put in a Roth IRA but I guess I didn’t count on that Thiel trick. I also wonder if there are Bitcoin IRAs 
A trick you could do here in Canada, I don’t know if it works elsewhere, is if you had enough money in your retirement fund, you could issue yourself a mortgage for your house, with deliberately crappy terms (just nothing more extravagant that the most extravagant bank would issue) and then deliberately break the terms of your mortgage to be forced to pay yourself penalties and higher interest rates. Its a “legal” way to get more money from outside a tax shelter to inside, for the wealthy.
