Regarding social media, I am not looking for influencers or famous personalities, I am looking for conversations with friends and contacts. The fewer influencers and meme accounts spamming me with useless information the better.
Regarding sports streaming, as long as it doesn’t affect the non-sports content and it doesn’t up the price - or it is priced as an add-on - I don’t really care. I haven’t watched live sports for around 20 years now, other than a bit of the Olympics, although that was generally the daily digest on the news…
I have just finished purging all of my tweets, likes, and comments from Twitter (after an export of the data, of course). I will still retain my account (because I don’t someone else claiming it and because if things change - I want the option to return), but I haven’t posted there in any meaningful way for a couple of years now.

If they engaged the way the rest of us mere- mortals do, they might find a different experience.
Clubhouse isn’t a good comparison because the vast majority of users do not want a voice experience.
I was constantly distracted by Daniel’s headrest and right arm popping in and out of existence - I thought background blur was supposed to remove distractions. I guess it was AI powered…
Totally agree with you on social media
Regarding AI Granny, do check out https://jollyrogertelephone.com/ which has been providing this sort of service for a while, in the US and UK. Interestingly, their US voices include “Crazy Mazy”, which makes me wonder if there’s any crossover between the services.
