Say it ain’t so, Stacey! I was really jazzed to hear about Nanoleaf turning on Thread Border Router functionality in their newer lighting products, but your report of unresolved glitchiness is making me very worried about my potential purchase. I want to go all-in on Thread/Matter without being beholden to any Apple products. The only other Border Router I could find is OpenThread’s RPi implementation and the adorable little device from Kirale (although shipping from Europe looks to be quite pricey). Are any of Amazon’s latest generation Echo products Border Routers yet or are they still trying to flog their proprietary Sidewalk network on the public?
