Wow those guys are cold. 
I’ve always said 1 human year = 15 computer years. But these days with processor improvements slowing it might be more like dog years. The problem isn’t with the hardware so much, it’s that companies abandon the software in 10, or fewer, years. If the OS and browsers aren’t getting updated a computer is no longer suitable for the Internet, and that’s what we do most these days.
