@ronxo just some thoughts on transparent displays. The main thing I see, is the background images seen through the display would interfere with what is being displayed. No doubt you know how annoying it is to work on a reflective screen, in a lit room. Reflections everywhere.
Then there is the need for transparent batteries, circuit boards, and components as well.
