I was playing around with the macro rings on my Sony a couple of weeks back, but only just got around to looking at the results…
Close-up of a rose, I love the sharpness of the petals in the foreground and the soft hint of the core.
Then the core itself:
This was interesting, with the petals of 2 neighbouring flowers intertwining:
And I love the detail on this one:
Edit: Sony Alpha 6000 with 50mm prime and Walimex macro rings.
I think you might have problems getting the pantechnicon down that street…
Lovely view. My uncle used to live in Stithians in Cornwall. I love these remote, peaceful locations and old houses - I think his farm house was 400 years old, his yacht, on the other hand was nearly new, it was only 150 years old!
Yeah, we looked at the one on the left. Early 17th century. Fascinating place with views over the bay and hills, but access on foot only
Good Timezone.
It has been awhile, still learning how to video edit and make content with this new machine I bought and well trying to improve on life skill as i hunt for a job.
I have not been posting much here due to the above but i enjoy every photo that has been posted.
A post was split to a new topic: The Photo Thread: Week of 08-29-2021
Nice! I shot some lovely flowers yesterday but these are a reminder of the difference between using a smartphone and a real camera.
