  1. Is it intentional that not all have “Beep Boop Robot” announces a TECH BREAK?
  2. How much is the unit cost per user to maintain a Mastodon instance? Based on the story in Wired, it costs GBP 1200 per year for 35000 users or about USD 0.05 per user per year. On the MastoHost website, it costs about USD 240 per year for about 100 users or about USD 2.50 per user per year. The human resources cost is excluded.
  3. While discussing server costs, what is the unit cost to maintain the “TWiT.community” server?

It costs me $350 a MONTH to run our Mastodon instance of around 5,000 people. I know. I write the check.

Is the unit cost of the “twit.community” around the figure too?

So, this forum costs 300$ per month to run. There are 9 moderators and admins (see About - TWiT.Community), and all cheaper plans only include 5.
