Teams Meeting help

So in a Teams meeting, external participants can only see blue screen ? Audio was working however. Any ideas why they cannot get video ?

Could this be the area to look into first ?

-Make sure your computer meets the system requirements for Teams.
-Update your graphics card drivers.
-Clear your browser cache and cookies if you're using the web version of Teams.
  • Try using a different web browser or reinstall the Teams app.
  • Disable any antivirus or firewall software temporarily and see if the issue persists.

Can’t help with your probs, but I have one weekly Teams call I attend, and it only works on my laptop.

The tablet and phone permissions for the camera and mic don’t work when I join the Teams call on the web. The browser has these permissions, I’ve tried removing them and re-adding but never got it working. Frustrating.

Couple clarifying questions - you said “external participants” does this mean participants internal to your organization were able to see your screen?

Were you trying to share your display, or just your camera feed?

Semi-related, MS Teams sharing interface is a real bear. I was on a call this morning where the poor sales guy just couldn’t figure it out. We swapped to Zoom for his benefit.

internal could see the screen fine. Sharing display.
