Super Exciting Day Today!

Wow - what an exciting day… Some Cheer laundry soap I ordered from Wal-Mart’s website came today (I get groceries delivered weekly, but I never could get this). And, tomorrow, I will be getting some peroxide from WalMart’s website, and a big bottle of hand soap refill from Amazon.

Best week ever! SvAJioD SvAJioD

Oh, don’t forget the 2 bottles of rubbing alcohol 70% and Clorox wipes I managed to get delivered yesterday from WalMart’s website too. Can’t forget that! :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn, what did I used to do for fun!?!

I used to order all the time from WalMart and Amazon online for the same reason. Good selection of items and often times discounted. They would even throw in free shipping. It does feel satisfying especially when they’re quick to ship them.

I don’t have Amazon prime, so I have had to pay shipping here and there. But, I don’t want to go to a bunch of stores to track stuff down. And, some items - there is no other way to get things locally… Such as hand soap, rubbing alcohol, clorox wipes, etc…

Does Amazon.com have any reward credit cards for Prime? I had one from Amazon.ca and Chase that would give me enough points per year for a free Prime membership and that would give me free shipping. Otherwise they still give me free shipping on orders over $35.

I don’t know, since I don’t have prime. I have had to pay $5.99 shipping on most things - both from Amazon AND from the WalMart website.

My exwife has Amazon Prime - sometimes I will ask her to order something for me, and I pay her when it comes in. To save shipping. With all this virus stuff going on, I don’t really want to go over there. She works as a dental assistant, so she is around all sorts of people every day…

When we are NOT having this virus mess, I don’t usually order enough from Amazon to justify the Amazon Prime cost

Amazon does have CC’s that offer rewards, Also they have discounts for students on prime that just require a school (.EDU) email address incase anyone was unaware of that fact, it basically cuts the Prime cost in half. There are a few minor differences that you do not get with Prime Student that normal prime subscribers get but its hardly noticeable. Also someone with a normal prime membership I believe can share it with someone else’s Amazon account (one of the things you do not get with Prime Student) at least at one point that could be done. Worth looking into possibly.
