Re: Using AI to create show notes. Recent TWIG episode

(recent Tech Break episode) I listened to the section where they discussed using AI to create show notes for TWIT shows. I have a question: Can that same AI be used to create the timestamps for the different show topic segments? If yes, could you try that for an upcoming TWIT or Sec Now episode? And include the timestamps in the show notes? If you do that, let me know with a reply to this. Thanks!

I love TWIT and Sec Now but I don’t listen to them cuz they don’t include timestamps so I’m unable to easily skip the topics I’m not interested in.

As soon as we can reliably do that with AI we will. The only thing holding us back in the past is lack of manpower - but AI power is infinite!

YouTube already generates timestamps for some TWiT shows, but I haven’t seen a pattern yet.

On Youtube I looked for timestamps on the latest episodes of TWIT, Sec Now and Win Weekly and didn’t see any timestamps. For me, the timestamps do not have to be integrated with the podcast or Youtube timestamps APIs. If the segment titles and matching timestamps only appear as plain text in the show notes, that’s good enough for me. That would make me very happy.

If they can be integrated with the platform APIs, that’s even better.
