I also have a brother BW laser printer. It’s fantastic and I have never had a single problem with it.
I have a Lexmark all-in-on inkjet that has been reduced to a network-connected scanner and occasional fax machine. My printing is done with either a Brother B&W laser printer or an ancient Lexmark dot matrix printer. (It makes really nice letterhead to use with my typewriter, and I don’t have Windows 98 drivers for my Brother.
