I shook Ted Kennedyās hand in 1984, saw Pat Shroeder (former congresswoman from Colorado) at a bookstore in Colorado Springs, saw Ethan Phillips (Neelix on Star Trek: Voyager) at a sci-fi convention in Charlotte, NC in the 1990sā¦ Thatās what comes to mind; Iām sure there must be moreā¦
Of course only one of those actually meant that I was doing more than just sharing space with the person. I donāt know if Rep. Schroeder even saw me. Mr. Phillips did, though.
Oh! I forgot. I auditioned once for Stanley Kramer and his wife, who were running an acting/dancing/singing school in Bellevue, WA when I was in high school. I was in choir, so I was trying to get in to their school. I wasnāt so interested in the dancing and acting parts though, and they had plenty of candidates who were. Stanley Kramer, if the name doesnāt ring a bell, was a film director. Itās a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Guess Whoās Coming to Dinner ā¦ lots more.
