One thing I miss from Windows is per app volume control. I have found BackgroundMusic, but seems to be very early. There are also a couple paid applications that do what I want. I’m wondering if anyone is using anything that does per application volume control that they can recommend. Needs to work on Big Sur and M1.
It’s not free but Rogue Amoeba’s SoundSource should do what you want

I second that. I need different inputs and outputs for different apps and find this works great.
