Object over Mark Gurman's sholder

What is it? Soundbar?

It is a shelf with a model sailing ship on it.

Called a floating shelf, I guess that makes sense since there’s a ship on it.

I think this is the correct answer.

Those kinds of floating shelves are usually thick like a small soundbar because they’re installed over some metal brackets with poles sticking out of it to hold the shelf. The wood (or plastic) of the shelf then needs to be a hollow box to hide the metal and just slips over the poles so that it looks like it’s floating.

Not a recommendation, as I just googled for an image, but this may explain it visually: https://www.amazon.com/YMDparts-Inch-Floating-Shelf-Brackets/dp/B0811DRJ7K/
