I’ve had my new M1 MBA for a few weeks now and yes it is much faster than our most recent machines however ironically, no faster than a fresh install of Windows 98 or XP. I’ve been in the process of resurrecting some old hardware necessary to keep my engraving equipment running. While putting together a fresh install of Windows 98SE, I am reminded how snappy things used to be.
