It seems as if some bad actor has control over Twitter’s internal tools. Seeing crypto-scam posts from several “blue check” accounts including Bill Gates and Elon Musk who most certainly had decent passwords and 2FA enabled.

Seems they are saying that it is a tweet scheduling platform that got hacked so not actually Twitter. Possibly an employee’s account according to some replies on Twitter.
I’d be surprised if that was the case considering the width and breadth of the compromises. Add Joe Biden to that list. I just hope Twitter comes clean with a real explanation someday rather than just hiding behind PR speak.
