Agree…loved reading JCD in PCMag.

That was an excellent episode.

Yikes… there’s a LIKE LIMIT? I don’t like limits. (See what I tried to do there?) That is one reason I HATE Facebook. What’s up with the like limit? What if when I eat a Molly or 200? Peace and love. Peace and love! P.S. What do I need to do to earn the Comedy Badge?

That’s a Discourse thing. You get a higher limit as you move up to higher levels of trust. I think it’s meant to encourage people both to behave (be properly social) and to participate.

Came across Leo and Patrick Norton many moons ago, when they were young and charming, had hair, with color too, on that old screensavers. Now mind you this was when Leo thought Macintosh was the system of the future. So on and off I have seen Leo talk tech for a long time and have been with twit for many years now, really never able to watch live so was happy when he opened this up.
And look I got the username Jeff, Wow

hopefully he wont google this project and keep it around.

Thanks Twit people

I do hope to come visit the Eastside Studio now that both you and Mikah work there. It’s also an excuse to visit my Aunt and Uncle in Rohnert Park. I am looking forward to watching Hands on Photography. Also, I am a USC and Ohio State football fan.

I’ve been a fan since the olden days (2003/04) of TechTV on DirecTV. I’m a technology integration specialist for the public schools in Fayetteville, Arkansas, so it’s great to try to keep up with what’s new in tech. I help teachers find ways to integrate technology into their lesson plans. I also emphasize geography type technologies like Google Earth and GPS. We have GPS units, and I really enjoy setting up geocaches for students.

My favorite personal tech topics are home theater and audiophile/music. I used to be a avid listener of international shortwave broadcasts back in the day (hence the chatroom username “shortwave”). It was a great way to learn about the world, although it’s been almost completely replaced these days with the Internet and online broadcasts of some of the former international broadcasters.

I’m glad to have joined this forum…keep up the great work!

I am liking this forum so far. Some of the shows had great communities on Google+. I think this will be a great replacement.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. I’ve been missing G+, where most of my time was spent in communities. So far, this forum is filling the G+ hole pretty well for me.

I am living in Asia too, so those live events are kinda impossible unless I have a day off the next day. I haven’t missed the beginning of an Apple event so far, but normally fell asleep half way through…:laughing:
Thanks for your service!

Truck driver here that enjoys messing around with tech in my spare time. Discovered Leo’s podcast network several years ago when driving between Indy and Chicago. His shows really help to pass the time driving overnight.

Primary Ed Tech consultant from Oxford in the UK. I discovered TWIT when Leo was still in the TWIT Cottage and enjoyed the walk to the Brick House with him. TWIT has cost me a fortune in apps, gadgets and subscriptions over the years but every penny well worth it! One day I hope to visit the TWIT studios in person. If TWIT ever decides to do an Ed Tech Podcast please count me in!

Hi all,
Stumbled upon The Tech Guy show about a year ago and have been hooked to it and a handful of the other podcasts as well. Having been in the print industry for a while, I’ve been working with Mac since the late eighty’s. Also run Windows and have 1 laptop running Linux as well.
Just purchased a pixel 3a and am looking forward to taking more pictures and getting some tips from the upcoming Hands on Photography show.

Thank you! Well I’ve actually never listened to TWiET, maybe I should. However I work with DoD systems mostly so while it is relevant we are usually 3 or 4 steps behind whatever the latest Enterprise services are.
