Mike, I love your idea of using Google Photos as a visual social network. It’s still not what the old Google Plus used to be. RIP G+.

How would this work? Google photos as social media.
The idea is you can share an album with friends and they can comment on photos or the album.
I have also been doing this to share my stuff with my family. I like to add captions to give them context and just send them the links to the albums. They like and comment on them and I don’t really think they even know its Google Photos or whatever, but they see the comment box and comment. Works pretty well. I haven’t used Facebook in more than 2 years now I think and I have not missed it.
