Happy new year! Had some personal stuff drag me away from TWiT and other online indulgences, but hoping to get back behind the keyboard in the new year. Hope everyone has an enjoyable eve.

Happy new year! 2024 was a very hard year for me; but I’m very glad I rediscovered TWiT during my tough time and this forum gave me somewhere to return to everyday. I logon every morning and I needed that more than I realized this year.
And my sleepless biphasic nights would be a total misery without MBW, TWIG, and my favourite: Windows Weekly.
It’s been lovely getting to know y’all in the threads.

2024 was a dreadful year for us - we tried to sell our house, found a buyer in March and moved into a flat. The sale fell through, as did sales to 2 other prospective buyers… We finally signed in December, the house should be gone some time this month! Nearly 10 months of double costs, and that was just one of many bad things. 
Here’s hoping 2025 gets off to a better start!
Happy New Year everyone. 2024 not great for me either for health reasons that stopped me from doing many hobbies and activities I enjoy. Had my operation 2 days ago to sort that, now have 8 weeks rest and hopefully a healthier 2025

I suppose summarizing this thread using the new AI summary feature is a good summary of 2024 in general… Here’s hoping in 2025 our AI overlords don’t change their “minds” about who is in charge
