Wait a sec, this is slightly old news I did not catch.

Reminds me a bit of the Leistungsschutzrecht debate of two weeks ago. :wink:

Google analytics isn’t illegal, but binding it into your website in non anonymous mode is. If the site sends PII to Google, such as the visitors IP address or any information about the user collected in the site, that is illegal.
