I’ve been perpetually searching in vain for the perfect mobile device ever since the market decided mobile devices should be massive. No manufacturer makes a device that ticks all my boxes, sadly.

My ideal device:

  • dimensions no larger than 145mm x 75mm
  • metallic material design (no glass or plastic)
  • OLED display
  • IP67+ waterproof rating
  • Qi charging
  • removable battery
  • 3.5mm jack
  • physical camera button
  • dual-SIM slot
  • microSD card slot
  • notification LED

What features would your perfect mobile device have?

That doesn’t seem like a big ask, you could get that from almost any of the latest non-subsidized Android devices.
