Richard’s breathing like Darth Vader and it was pretty distracting.
It’s actually really bad and makes me A) want to grab my inhaler and breathe, and B) stop listening with headphones because it’s honestly killing the experience. He needs to mute his mic (I remember on the pre show he was having issues with it)
I ended up using this episode as a lullaby to my daytime nap today. The breathing didn’t really bother me as much coming from speakers. But on headphones it was unlistenable.

Interesting you called out Lenovo’s financials. The org I work for is about to finalize a deal to expand our compute capacity with Lenovo. It’ll be a sizeable purchase of Intel hypervisors and a smaller number of Nvidia L40S GPU-equipped servers. Lenovo’s sales guys are very hungry right now, moreso than any other vendor we work with. There’s a considerable tide-shift happening now in the datacenter server space. Every vendor we went to for this refresh/expansion told us the same thing - they’re no longer offering the hyper-dense “blade” form factor that we’ve used for years. The industry is finally at the point where a single rack of 60+ servers requires more power and cooling than is possible to get into a standard 42U server rack. Lenovo seem to be the only ones jumping on this evolutionary change.
You guys mentioned that the Windows Update mechanism is sort of “tried-and-true” dependable. Does anyone know if the Microsoft Store and Xbox App uses the same underlying technology/infrastructure? Because it’s hot garbage. It’s a major hurdle when trying to get my friend group onboard for Gamepass subscriptions. Constant mystery errors when trying to download content, and when you finally do get a steady download going the transfer speed is way worse than Steam, GOG or even Epic’s nonsense.

Yeah the breathing distracted me when using the head phones , I hope whoever it was is actually okay . Sounded like the person had a stuffed nose or something.
