Jason, for your Macbook Pro when you travel what are you using to charge power your Macbook? For me I take my dedicated Apple Macbook Pro fast charger. So taking the MagSafe connector is no problem. Maybe the MacBook Pro can charge off a regular USB charger. A’l bet not as fast.
If you have a laptop which uses USB-C, a phone that uses USB-C, a tablet that uses USB-C, headphones that use USB-C, why pack a second charger?
It is the one thing that annoys me about my iPhone, everything else I have, laptop, iPad, earbuds, everything uses USB-C, apart from the iPhone. I carry a 65W USB-C charger, which charges everything with one cable, plus a second Lightning cable…
