Hi there!
Today for something else that caught my eye: the same perspective captured by two painters at the same time. One Wassily Kandinsky and one Gabriele Münter .
The picture is from a gallery visit of the weekend. Found it fascinating how this rather unremarkable little street of over a century ago caught both artists eyes - and by extension their canvases - slightly differently. Reminded me how we share our pictures and how everyone frames and creates their shots slightly differently. What we consider noteworthy, interesting, impressive, and what not.
Left is by Kandinsky, the teacher and more abstract of the two, right by Münter, the student and slightly more realistic.
