My youngest daughter is the photographer of this shot. When it comes to portraits, she’s much more talented than I am. She’s just starting to make some money with the camera. Very proud of her work.

In the background is my middle daughter and her husband. The subject is their daughter and my seventh grandchild.

Is it okay to give her web site a plug here?

To carry on with the topic of children: A little boy fascinated by the fountain in Plaza de Armas Arequipa, Peru. His mother looked very proud when I asked if were okay if I took the photo. He looks like a little fisherman, so on my blog I captioned this, “Is he dreaming of going to sea.” Perhaps the anchor chain at the top of the photo put the sea into my mind.

Taken on my OG iPhone X, edited in Pixelmator Photo

Just an idea, but what if you were to get us a topic each week?

Actually I was thinking of adding a topic each week, and almost did that this morning. We can start doing topics and/or challenges next week :muscle::muscle:

Love the shot and so much more dramatic by decolorizing all but the wreaths! It really tells the story in a way a full color shot wouldn’t!

Taking advantage of the fall foliage while I still can.

Oooo, those are nice!

As far as I’m concerned, that is the greatest compliment I could receive. :slightly_smiling_face:

Here is one from BGC. Edited w Snapseed. A little perspective shift and a tiny lens blur lined up with the action of the shot.

Just working on merging multiple photos in Photoshop to get some motion in the river, after watching @ant_pruitt in the latest episode of HOP.
