Love it. It looks so serene.
And one of sunrise from my wife, as she was walking the dog this morning.
Taken with her new iPhone 13, but transferred over Signal, so probably a few artifacts have crept in.
I have a house guest who has been staying with me for some weeks. He’s very much into photography, so we’ve been making trips for photo opportunities when the weather and time permits. The past weekend was a trip to a national park that has a number of places to stop for bird watching. While he took many photos with his DSLRs (yes plural) I just had my aging Pixel 2XL with me. I decided to put the “AI” to test on the blues of the water, through a dead tree, with a sailboat in the distance. In order for the sailboat to be resolvable at all, I had to do a little digital zooming. This is the photo, straight out of the phone, with only a resize for posting. I think it did a reasonable job.
This one is an experimental edit. I tweaked the saturation and hue a bit to really pull the red out of the leaves. (The default colours out of the Pixel2XL didn’t do the original red justice, but this edit is maybe taking it a bit too far.)
Looks like an interesting prize, but I wouldn’t actually want one, it would have me craving some sugary treats all the time.
