After many stories about poor working conditions, health and safety problems and not being able to get enough staff or keep those that they do find, they are now trying to alienate them as well.
The director of the factory in Grünheide and the head of personnel have been visiting employees that were registered sick, to make sure they were sick. This has annoyed the unions and got the backs up of the employees.
The union stated, that Tesla has enough problems with people being sick and those that aren’t sick are being overworked and then becoming sick themselves. They should be looking at breaking this vicious cycle, instead of harassing sick employees.
