Hi. I need a shortcut to track my daily food. I want to take a picture of my meal and save it in a note under the current date and time. I have tried it on my own, but I am new to this and need some direction please.
Do you have an iPhone or an Android phone?
Can you tell us a little more about what you are trying to do?
I can manually start a note with today’s date. Then in the note I can select to take a photo which is added to the note.
I would like to do all this with a shortcut.
I have an iPhone XR. Is there anything else you need to know in order to help
There’s an app called Bitesnap that you can install from the App Store. I haven’t used it myself, but has hood reviews. Does most things automatically- just select date and take photo. Looks like you can enter macros etc. it will also try to recognise the food from the photo.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I am hoping to avoid adding an app. I can do this manually, but am hoping to use a shortcut instead.
I think I have solved this. Listened to Matt Cassinelli on iMore 674.
Take 1 photo with back camera
Save photo to recent
Create note with saved media
The last step would be to append additional pictures from the same day to the note.
Still trying to figure it out.
