We’ve been getting quite a bit of snow here in NYC as well. That hasn’t stoppped me from going on a few photo walks. Luckily the birds don’t seem to mind.
Went for a walk at Weedon Island Preserve (St Pete, FL) yesterday…

Man, that’s in tip top condition. I am driving under a bridge into town every once in a while (since Corona, more frequently before) that looks like it will be caving in soon. Would not have expected such a thing as bridge envy.
Yes, this bridge was recently refurbished and painted after being hit by a few trucks that were too tall to go under it.
I remember in university an engineering publication referring to a bridge as an erection. There’s a dirty joke in there somewhere.

Bit like in the show Chernobyl: not great, not horrible.
Just a quick picture before they take snow away tonight. City centre full of those snow piles.
And my home yard more snow coming tomorrow.

First the olive oil and now this. Did you move to Morocco?
That’s one way to… encourage infrastructure spending.
lol!!! Such an interesting mix of things (beyond wine) in Napa Valley, apparently.
Or because of the wine…
Hey cool, you’re from Finland! (Pointing out the obvious to you, of course…). My wife and I really like Finland! We’ve only been a couple of times and always in Helsinki (what a surprise), but it’s high on our list to come back to once things calm down… I always wondered: is there a pragmatic way of traveling the country? As in: would you recommend exploring by train, car, or short hops in a plane?
